One of tne most difficult scenes to shoot was Victor Garber 's and David Haskell's dance sequence for "All for the Best" in front of the Accutron sign in Times Square. They firstly had to shoot the sequence in silhouette in the studio with a specialist camera that had the correct frame rate for projection onto the screen. A way then had to be found to sync the live action movie camera frame rate with the screen's projection rate (which were different) and the audio playback so all were syncronised. The platform in front of the screen was only 2 feet wide and the safety barrier was removed as it was in the way and replaced by a thin wire. David Haskell was afraid of heights and on at least 2 occasions both men came dangerously close to the edge whilst performing the dance. As the scene was shot on an ordinary working day (but from the ground up),a large crowd gathered to watch the filming.
