The Mil-8 helicopter that was used in the film was borrowed from the Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare, England. The 25 metre aircraft, which weighs 7,000kgs, was disassembled and taken to Pinewood Studios and other locations. The interior was altered, windows reshaped and completely repainted for the film.
