Behind the scenes, Rose McGowan was horrified at the costume choices she was given to wear as Tatum (the wardrobe mistress wanted her to be a tomboy, Rose envisioned her as cuter and more feminine). When they tried to get her to wear denim overalls, saying "they're very 'now'", Rose responded "they're very never" and immediately hopped in a taxi to buy her own clothes.
