The carrillon in the film is located on the Canadian side of the Rainbow Bridge. It contains 55 bells, inaugurated July 1st 1948. The bells were cast in England, the largest bell, the "Bourdon" weighs 22,000 lbs while the entire instrument weighs 95,000 lbs. When the last carrilloneur retired in 2002, it was automated and still plays 3 times a day
