Al's breakdown on stage in which he tells the audience "You're all a bunch of slaves!" is a direct parody of a Jim Morrison outburst during a concert by The Doors in Miami on March 1, 1969, as portrayed in The Doors (1991), Oliver Stone's film about the band. (What Morrison actually said to the audience in Miami was "You're all a bunch of ****ing idiots!")
