During the finale of the film, at the end of Super Sonic's attack on Eggman's Death Egg Robot, the final move he does to cap it all off, Tap the robot with his foot to send it collapsing down, exactly like his first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) when he saved Elise from Eggman.
