In one of the special features on the movie's DVD, Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen) says how he has a lot of clout on this movie and jokingly whispers "You're Fired!" several times pointing to different crew members. In the later Sacha Baron Cohen movie, Grimsby - Attenti a quell'altro (2016), Donald Trump is the subject of a joke. Trump, amongst other things, has been famous for saying, "You're Fired!", on the television show The Apprentice (2004).
