Six of the actors who appeared on Dark Shadows (1966), also appeared in the Star Trek franchise. Natalie Norwick (stand-in on numerous episodes, and the first of two actors/actresses to appear on Star Trek before Dark Shadows) appeared in a 1966 episode of Star Trek: The Original Series (1966). David Hurst (Justin Collins) appeared in a 1969 episode of Star Trek: The Original Series (the other actor to appear on Star Trek before he appeared on Dark Shadows). Mitchell Ryan (Burke Devlin) and Kathryn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans) each appeared in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) in 1989. Gail Strickland, who played werewolf victim Dorcas Trilling during the 1897 storyline, appeared in a 1994 episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993). Keene Curtis (the voice of Judah Zachary) appeared in a 1996 episode of Star Trek: Voyager (1995). Five actors from the 1991 Revival Series also appeared in the Star Trek franchise.
