When Shazam meets Mary for the first time in his superhero form, she seems astonished that he knows her name, not realizing that he had previously met her as Billy Batson. This is possibly a nod to the live-action TV Series "Shazam" from the 70's because frequently throughout the series, Captain Marvel would address the people he helped by name, even though he had only met them as Billy Batson and not as Captain Marvel.
