Amongst the e-mails of the Sony hack in 2014 were ones which revealed that Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence made less money for their performances in this film than their male co-stars Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale, despite the equivalent time of appearance in the film, significance of their characters to the storyline, and overall similar status of fame and popularity among fans.
