Jason Isaacs's favorite of his own films, as he said in a 2008 interview with The Guardian. In 2021, in an online interview with Griffin Schiller for FilmSpeak, Isaacs reiterated that it's still a brilliant film to him, as it the only real version of the story accurately centering on Wendy's first pangs of puberty.
