The scenes based around saving the hostage from his penthouse, although depicted as Hong Kong, is actually the Abu Dhabi Central Market building, with Hong Kong buildings added using CGI. The following escape scenes were filmed around the City of Lights, Al Reem island, Abu Dhabi.
