In a buzzfeed interview, between director and star (as The Narrator/Performer), Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) and co-star, Sydney Sweeney (who plays Scarlett Smith), it was revealed that there were two lines that were improvised during shooting and they were: "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" "Dead." And "Do you like airplanes?" "I f**king hate airplanes". The latter one being bc Colson wanted to get the shot regardless of the fact that there were planes flying above set. Both lines were spoken in dialogue between Fenix James (Chase 'Lil Huddy' Hudson) and Scarlett Smith (Sydney Sweeney).
