Harry Melling (Dudley Dursley) had lost so much weight during his one-year hiatus from the Harry Potter movies that he had to wear special face prosthetics in this movie. It took the make-up department nearly six months to create the prosthetics that would look realistic enough when viewed close up, but in the end, nearly all of his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.
