The final Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer short produced by the original MGM Cartoons before William Hanna and Joseph Barbera moving on to television for animation during the Golden Age of American animation until it was revived in 1963 starting with Pent-House Mouse (1963), the first Tom and Jerry short produced by Chuck Jones (of Warner Bros. and Looney Tunes fame) and Metro's second in-house animation studio MGM Animation/Visual Arts since it was re-opened in 1962. (Though not the Gene Deitch shorts which are not produced by MGM Animation in general.)
