Jake's car, when he first meets Vickie in New York City, is a 1942 Packard Six Custom convertible coupe. New, it cost around $1,500 (~$28,200 in 2022). Production was cut short by WW2. In excellent condition in 2022 an example of this car could be worth $60,000 or more.
