Amy Smart played the daughter to Eric Stoltz in the 2004 science fiction drama The Butterfly Effect, Stoltz was the original Marty McFly in Back to the Future, featuring series director Lea Thompson as his mother, but was replaced by Michael J. Fox later in production.
