Sanjay Dutt was offered & approached or almost signed twice for the film ; first for the role of Sunny Deol - the powerful business tycoon & second in the negative role of Sohail Khan ; but both times he was declined the roles in the movie bcz of his upcoming films commitment & date issues for Rudraksh & Rakht in 2004.
