William Sadler, who played the recurring character Armin Janko (Eddie Janko's father), played another recurring character in a police procedural drama Hawaii Five-0 (2010) as John McGarrett, Steve McGarrett's father (played by Alex O'Loughlin). He was killed in the pilot and appeared in flashbacks in later episodes.
