The Wakandans use displays of nanites (millions of microscopic machines that form different shapes), in contrast to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who use holograms (Iron Man, Asgard) or viewscreens (Guardians of the Galaxy).This is the third major superhero film to employ nanite displays, after X-Men (2000) and L'uomo d'acciaio (2013).
