Megan Follows appeared as one of Jo's relatives in Season 3, April 14, 1982 episode Jo's Cousin meant to be a spinoff focusing on Jo's family, but that never materialized. Megan would go on to star in the 1985 Canadian Broadcasting Corporation production of Anne of Green Gables, which also was aired on cable on Showtime and all over the world subsequently.
