In a sketch in the 2nd show of Series 2, Superman (Griff-Rhys Jones) is seen having sex with a woman (Pamela Stephenson) and in the next sketch, a poster of Superman II (1980) is seen behind Rowan Atkinson. After the show ended, Pamela Stephenson starred in Superman III (1983) as Lorelei Ambrosia.
