Throughout the series, Officer Andy Renko is often seen wearing a black baseball cap with an orange winged "W" in a white circle. The winged W is the logo of country music legend Waylon Jennings. Jennings is best known for hits like "Good Hearted Woman", "Luckenbach, Texas", and "The Only Daddy That'll Walk The Line" but is probably best known outside of country music as the narrator for "The Dukes of Hazzard" and performer of the show's theme "The Good Ol' Boys".
