During the scene on the Black Zero where Zod explains where he and his group have been since Krypton's destruction, there is a bizarre dream-scene where Clark stands on New Krypton in a field of skulls. If one looks closely, they could see that his Superman costume is almost jet-black with gray highlights on the shield, resembling the black and silver suit from the comic 'The Death of Superman' and later Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) (the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League (2017)).Also, the scene shows a ruined wreckage of a city, similar to the one shown in the Knightmare from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
