Vladimir Mashkov plays Sasha, the Serbian sniper. His getup and appearance was the basis of designing Niko Bellic, the protagonist of the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV by Rockstar Games. Mashkov revealed in a 2009 interview that Rockstar actually contacted him to do a voiceover for the protagonist of the game, which he declined. Later, American actor Michael Hollick gave the voice of Niko Bellic in the game.
