Togo's first race as Seppala's lead dog was the John Bordon Marathon Cup Race on the 9th of February 1918. Seppala placed second behind Fred Ayer. Togo's last race was the Pocono Manor Dog Race on the 27-28th of February 1928. Elizabeth Ricker came first, with several of Seppala's dogs, including Fritz as the lead dog. Seppala came second. Asle Seppola came third, with Togo and Czarina as lead dogs. All three drivers were within 8 minutes of each other. Togo would have been around 14 years old at the time.
