Bucky Barnes shows up for the fight, having been cryogenically frozen in Wakanda for a while following Captain America: Civil War (2016). While he was under, Shuri worked to cure him of his hypnosis as The Winter Soldier. It is also assumed that Steve Rogers has checked up on him periodically.
