The directorial debut of Perry Andelin Blake, the in-house production designer for Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions. Blake was looking to get into directing and Sandler put him up for the job. Dana Carvey was fine with it because he really just wanted someone who wanted to have fun and wasn't going to try to control him on the set. Apart from a 2014 TV series pilot that found no takers, he has directed nothing since.
