Both lead actors Cary Elwes and Robin Wright were supporting actors in the DC Wonder Woman universe. Cary played Henry Johns in the failed 2011 Wonder Woman (2011) TV pilot along side Adrianne Palicki. Robin Wright played Antiope along side Gal Gadot in the 2017 Wonder Woman (2017) movie and its 2020 sequel, Wonder Woman 1984. Both their characters were guiding influences on Diana/Wonder Woman.
