There seem to be 2 clear references to Negan from The Walking Dead: first you see a scene where Dieter holds a baseball bat covered in nails. This resembles the baseball bat covered with wires that Negan used to carry around to kill zombies or people. Later Dieter says to Mr. Tanaka "We're not allowed to say that anymore, it's 'easy peasy lemon squeezy' now" to which Tanaka replies "Ok fine: easy peasy lemon squeezy". This is the same line Negan was famous for.
