(at around 18 mins) When Father Burke, Sister Irene, and Frenchie arrive at Carta Abbey to begin their investigation, Frenchie explains that when he found the body of the nun who committed suicide, he moved her into a cold room where he would leave deliveries of food from the Village of Biertin. Frenchie then states that when he did so, the nun was lying down, and is shown as standing up. Father Burke then explains to Irene and Frenchie that there have been cases of a corpse showing the ability to move after death. This is an actual documented scientific condition in real life caused by either genetic deformation in the spinal cord and its fluids.
