After the Krabby Patty is revealed to be missing, Bikini Bottom is plunged into an apocalypse. Most of the costumes and backgrounds are reminiscent of the Mad Max movies. Lord Humungus (in fish form) is even seen at one point in the movie behind the Squidward Dinosaur as SpongeBob reveals that he will sacrifice himself.
