'Arbaaz Khan' was signed to act the role of Dev. He was replaced in the film when the distributors told Venus they could get a better price for a "Akshay Kumar Sunil Shetty" film. This angered Arbaaz and he bashed Sunil Shetty in all his interviews saying it was unethical to step into the role after what just happened.
