Very interesting point of this film is that Efrem Zimbalist Jr. was the commercial pilot in "Airport 1975" and Dana Andrews was the other pilot. In Il cielo è affollato (1960) Dana Andrews was the commercial airline pilot and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. was the jet flyer. Both movies it was Dana Andrews that was more or less at fault.
