The exterior of the chapel where Richard Conte's funeral is held was actually not in Las Vegas, but was a set on the 20th Century-Fox back-lot. It later played a prominent role in the mid-60's hit ABC soap opera Peyton Place. The neon-lit pendulum seen swinging back-and-forth on the front of the bell tower was added to give it a more "Vegas-y" vibe.
