John Ford has six Academy Awards in his office. Four were for Best Director, for Il traditore (1935), Furore (1940), Com'era verde la mia valle (1941), and Un uomo tranquillo (1952), and two were for Best Documentary, for the wartime shorts La battaglia delle Midway (1942) and 7 dicembre (1943).
