Stuntman AJ Bakunas broke his leg partway through a high stunt fall, and you can see the snap (at 49 mins.) "And now he's got another eighty feet to go with a broken leg." Sadly, Bakunas died four years later when an attempt at a record-setting fall went sour on the set of Steel (1979).
