French-Icelandic actor Tómas Lemarquis appears prominently in concept art as a Harkonnen soldier. Lemarquis has condition known as alopecia universalis which renders him completely hairless, which is a feature of all inhabitants of Giedi Prime in this adaptation. Dora Kápolnai-Schvab and Joelle who play the Baron's servants have the same condition. Lemarquis appeared in Denis Villeneuve's previous film Blade Runner 2049 (2017) but not in this film. Because of this, some fans has theorized that Lemarquis will play the character of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (who does not appear in this film) in an eventual sequel.
