One of Nicolas Cage's two characters he plays in the movie is Nicky aka Nicolas Kim Coppola, who is a younger version of his current self. In Cage's earlier filmography, he was only billed twice in movies as Nicolas Coppola. This was in his first two pictures, which were the telemovie The Best of Times (1981) and the cinema feature Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) is the first time Cage has been billed with the Coppola name since Fast Times, with this picture debuting in that movie's 40th Anniversary year.
