Manoj Kumar objected to Om Puri's in production film "Shrant"s title. He felt it was too similar to Kranti and the audience would get confused. He went as far as sending a legal notice to the producers. Manoj wanted them to change their films title. The matter was later resolved when Shrant got delayed for 2 years.
