The character Madisynn, who appeared in the episode She Hulk: Attorney at Law: Is This Not Real Magic? (2022), became so popular that a cult following developed around her immediately. Contrary to fan's expectations, she only appeared in no other episodes. According to writer and producer Jessica Gao, Patty Guggenheim was cast in the role after the series has already been written. She also said that had she known that Madisynn would become so popular, and that Guggenheim would play her, she would've definitely been featured in more episodes.
