Initially during the 1970 Parallel Time storyline, whenever Christopher Pennock portrayed John Yaeger, the evil alter-ego of mild-mannered scientist, Dr. Cyrus Longworth (also portrayed by Pennock), the makeup artist, Vincent Loscalzo, applied the same prosthetic nose used by Jack Palance in his portrayal of Mr. Hyde in The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1968), which was co-produced by Dan Curtis. Eventually, the prosthetic nose was abandoned.
