According to Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg on her Sirius XM radio show, Jenny was the Fuller House producers' original choice for the role of Joey's wife Ginger Gladstone. However, scheduling conflicts prevented Jenny from appearing on the show, and so Laura Bell Bundy was instead cast.
