Zack Snyder threatened to quit from the film over a Green Lantern appearance at the post-credits scene. Snyder originally wanted Green Lantern John Stewart in his cut of Justice League, but Warner Bros. blocked it, saying they have plans for John Stewart and they want to do their own announcement. Both the studio and Snyder later settled on Martian Manhunter.
