The Driftmark/Velaryon theme is the same melody as the song (It's Always Summer Under the Sea) that Princess Shireen sings in Il trono di spade (2011). In the books, she learned this song from her fool Patchface, who supposedly spent time with the sea people after being shipwrecked.
