Before going ashore Ann remarks that Iggy, a small pet monkey, "likes me better than anybody aboard ship; don't you Iggy?" The monkey then squeals and hops around. Of course, Iggy's larger cousin Kong would also prove to like Ann better than anyone aboard ship; she's the only one he doesn't attempt to kill.
