Sylvester Stallone, who portrays Rocky Balboa in 'Creed'( 2015), is the sixth actor, after Bing Crosby, Peter O'Toole, Al Pacino, Paul Newman, and Cate Blanchett, to be Oscar nominated twice for an Academy Award for playing the same character. Stallone previously portrayed the same Rocky Balboa character in 'Rocky' (1976). The interval between the two pictures is almost forty years (thirty-nine to be exact).
