The game is staffed by three levels of guards in red jumpsuits: managers with squares on their helmets, soldiers (triangles), and workers (circles). Managers are armed with revolvers, soldiers have machine guns and revolvers, and unarmed workers perform menial tasks. Whereas the players wear numbers, the guards do not display their numbers and so are visually indistinguishable other than their rank.
