Several rumors stated that Joe Sowerbutts (who voiced Harry Potter in the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) video game of the same name.) was brought in to voice dub a few of Daniel Radcliffe's lines in a few scenes of the film after his voice began to break during filming. A spokesperson from the studio however, denied this claim.
