During a brutal fight sequence between Jude Law (B) and Blake Lively (Stephanie) that was filmed in just one take after weeks of preparation, Blake broke her hand after delivering a punch to Jude's chest. It is a case of "life imitating art," because in the book, Stephanie Patrick breaks her fingers, though in a different way. The "piece-of-glass-in-Stephanie's-hand" event, was added to a different fight scene, so that Blake Lively could act later scenes with that hand bandaged up.
